Caterina Ingelido

Sr. Caterina Ingelido, a Combonian missionary, is Italian and has lived in Brazil for 23 years, the last four in Porto Velho, Rondônia. She was involved in the pastoral formation of her parish, in a mission outreach and coordinated "A Cry for Life," a network committed to preventing human trafficking. Since March of 2023, she returned to Italy for an internal congregational service, where she lives in Verona.

A Cry for Life: Sisters combat human trafficking in Brazil

Many people find it difficult to see and accept the reality of trafficking. The denial of what is right in front of them makes them more vulnerable to becoming victims themselves.
