Mary Jaeger

Mary Elizabeth Jaeger entered the Sisters of the Presentation of the Blessed Virgin Mary of Aberdeen, South Dakota, after working as a registered nurse for two years and spent a lifetime in health care ministry. She worked in hospitals, did college teaching in pediatrics and medical surgical nursing, held several administrative positions, established and coordinated a hospice care unit, and served as the director of community health nursing for the state of South Dakota.  Presently, she serves as an Avera Health board member and is engaged in various volunteer ministries for Avera, the Avera Heart Hospital, and St. Michael Parish.
