Mercy Sister Arlene Semesky, pictured in an undated photo, was killed June 16, 2023, in in East Township, Pa., when the car she was in with three other members of her order, collided with an SUV. Sister Semesky lived at the St. Rita Parish convent in Webster, N.Y., in the Rochester Diocese and was to have celebrated her 60th jubilee in the religious congregation in September.
