Suneela Polimetla

Suneela Polimetla, originally from Andhra Pradesh, South India, is a member of the Salvatorian Sisters congregation (Sisters of the Divine Savior). Currently residing in Nazareth, Israel, she works as a psychologist and counselor. Prior to moving to Israel, she served as a lecturer at Jyothi Nivas College in Bangalore, India. In Nazareth, she provides counseling for students at the Salvatorian Sisters' School, finding joy in daily interactions with students and staff. Before the war, she traveled weekly to Jerusalem to assist migrant children with psychological issues. Living in the Holy Land enriches her spiritual life and provides strength for life's challenges.

The daily routine of my life at the Salvatorian Sisters' School in Nazareth, Israel, used to be lively, with kids arriving at school with broad smiles. But the horrifying war now casts shadows of fear and insecurity.
