Campaign Nonviolence Jeopardy

The Franciscan Peace Center has re-vamped America’s favorite quiz show as part of Campaign Nonviolence, a project of Pace e Bene.  The free online game follows the format of “Jeopardy!” but with categories that focus on nonviolence, human rights, climate, income inequality, and racism.

The annual Campaign Nonviolence Action Days takes place September 21 (International Day of Peace) through October 2 (International Day of Nonviolence) when people across the globe mobilize for a culture of peace, economic equality, racial justice, and environmental healing.

The Action Days include a wide variety of events and campaigns to connect the dots between the issues and explore the many forms of nonviolence including education, constructive programs, protests, direct action, and healing work.

Our Campaign Nonviolence Jeopardy game consists of three rounds for a total of 75 questions to test players’ knowledge of key nonviolence issues.  The game can be accessed here: https://clintonfranciscans.com/campaign-nonviolence-jeopardy

The game is available online and open for anyone to play through a regular web browser.  No additional download is needed. It is a creative and fun way to engage new audiences and learn more about the nonviolence movement. It can be played individually or in competition with others. Instructions are included to guide you in setting up the game to play with multiple contestants as a group.

About Campaign Nonviolence

A project of Pace e Bene, Campaign Nonviolence is connecting the dots by working to end war, poverty, racism and environmental destruction —and building a nonviolent culture.

Campaign Nonviolence is a grassroots movement to mainstream active nonviolence using the vision of Martin Luther King, Jr. that calls us to become people of nonviolence and to resolve personal and global conflicts nonviolently.

Campaign Nonviolence was launched September 2014 with over 230 nonviolent actions in every state in the nation and continued in 2015 with 370 nonviolent actions, 760 actions in 2016, 1,600 in 2017, 2,600 in 2018 and over 4,000 in 2020. For the 2023 Action Days, people held over 5,000 actions in the US and in 20 countries.
