Holy Family Catholic Community in Inverness, IL, a large parish of 4500 families, located in the northwest suburbs of Chicago is seeking a Full-time Director of Family and Teen FAITH Program. The Director is responsible for the overall vision of a holistic catechetical ministry to children, teens and their families. Director will design, develop, direct and evaluate programs for sacramental preparation, including the OCIC, First Reconciliation, First Eucharist and Confirmation. Responsibilities include managing the FAITH office team and the training and supervising of volunteers assisting in the various programs.
The parish mission of “Empowering all to experience New Life in Christ through sacramental living, transformative worship, lifelong spiritual growth and community in service to others,” serves as the foundation for all Family FAITH events, programs and ministries. As a member of the Pastor’s leadership team the Director works collaboratively with the Pastor, the other Directors, staff and volunteers to develop, support and implement the vision and the mission of Holy Family.
Qualifications:
A Master’s degree or higher in Theology, Pastoral Studies, Religious Education, Spirituality or a related field is required.
Experience in a multi-faceted religious education program is preferred.
Ability to communicate effectively verbally and in writing in both one-on-one and group setting.
