Sr. Mary Nibedita, member of the Associates of Mary, Queen of Apostles in Bangladesh, has been working as a nurse for 42 years. She practices sincerity, faithfulness and love for all patients and teaches those values to her students.

"I wrote the story to reveal how a Catholic nun has been contributing for students from all faiths," said Shamima Sakendar.

Snehanir is a community where children, some with disabilities or from poor families, live together, help each other, study, and prepare to support themselves. The Catechist Sisters of the Immaculate Heart of Mary, Queen of Angels have run the center since 1992 in this Muslim-majority country, and they currently care for 39 children and youths who are Christian, Muslim, Hindu and Buddhist.

A 1968 famine inspired Sister Mary Lillian to find a way for people to earn money. The "Awakening" training center has trained an estimated 10,000 women since then. Often, this income is funneled to their children's education.
