Print journalism still kicking

Hat tip to Romenesko for this one. Interesting piece for those of us who straddle print and online journalism.

Writing for the Boston Globe, Kara Miller says: "Like many of my 30-something peers, I’m more inclined to click around a newspaper's website than bury my head in rustling, inky pages."

She had an opportunity to embrace the word in print, however, when -- while on her honeymoon -- she had newspapers delivered to her hotel room.

"I began to see -- as I haven't before -- the power of the physical product itself," she writes. "Though I would normally skip technology and business articles and head straight to the opinion and arts sections, I was forced to confront articles about economists, marketers, and earnings reports. And I drank them up."
