Sister Karen Rose will be installed as the 18th prioress of Saint Benedict’s Monastery, St. Joseph, Minn., on Sunday, June 4, 2023, during a private Rite of Installation ceremony in Sacred Heart Chapel. The public is invited to attend a Eucharist celebrating the installation at 1:30 p.m. on June 4, followed by a reception from 3–5 p.m. in the Gathering Place. Eucharist will be livestreamed.

The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth are again hosting the Run with a Mission Nazareth 5K. This year's race will take place at 8 a.m. Saturday, May 20, 2023, on the beautiful Nazareth Motherhouse Campus. Participants can walk or run in person or choose to participate virtually.

Alpha International is hosting their annual Leadership Conference in London from 1-2 May 2023. Alpha is an international, ecumenical organization passionate about evangelization in today’s world. Part of the conference will be a panel interview with religious sisters moderated by Nicky Gumbel, pioneer of Alpha. Panelists include Sr. Nathalie Becquart, XMCJ (Undersecretary at the Synod of Bishops), Sr. Celina Galinyte, OSB (Director of Alpha in Lithuania), and Sr. Kathryn Press, ASCJ (missionary supporting Alpha Ireland).

The week will include volunteer opportunities through Whole Kids Outreach (WKO), a nonprofit service organization located in Ellington, Missouri. A digital exhibit celebrating Benedictine sisters who studied and taught the sciences was created and published on March 1, the beginning of Women’s History Month, by Diana Fenton, an associate professor of education at the College of Saint Benedict and Saint John’s University.

The Religious Formation Conference will convene a new ForMission class this summer at the University of St. Mary of the Lake in Mundelein, Illinois. Participants will check in on May 31st and depart on June 8th.
The two-year program is intended for women and men:
• formation ministers currently accompanying new members at any stage of initial formation;
• preparing to become a formation minister;
• in elected and informal leadership who actively support and oversee the effectiveness and quality of the congregation/province initial formation program.

Sisters, Associates, and guests gathered at Saint Dominic Convent in Blauvelt to partake in this significant milestone.

This particular Chapter of Life and Mission was significant to the congregation as its theme focused on “Passion for the Possible.”

United States -- Students around the United States will have a chance to display their talent, earn cash prizes and educate other youth about human trafficking in a video contest, “What Would You Do?”

The Sisters of Charity of Nazareth will host an Open House on Friday, March 24, 2023, from 1 p.m. to 6 p.m. The event will be held at the Nazareth Motherhouse Campus, located in Bardstown, where the Sisters have resided since 1822.

During the visit, guests will have the opportunity to explore the Holy Grounds of Nazareth and learn about the history of the Congregation. Start by touring the beautiful and historic St. Vincent de Paul Church, admiring its architecture and peaceful atmosphere.

Benedictine sister Catherine Duenne, OSB, in partnership with Twenty-Third Publications, published a devotional booklet called "The Stations of the Resurrection." The Stations of the Resurrection are 14 stations that follow Jesus’ life from the Resurrection to Pentecost.
