VI Encuentro of AHLMA (the Association of Latin American Missionary Sisters in the United States) was held June 30-July 3, 2022, at the University of the Incarnate Word in San Antonio. The theme was "Called to Communion: Creating Spaces for Diversity, Equity and Inclusion." The Spanish word encuentro means much more than you might think. In this clip from "In Good Faith," Sr. Elizabeth Ann Guerrero, a Missionary Catechist of Divine Providence, explains how "something very spiritual happens" in this deep encounter. Encuentro "can be as wide and as deep and as profound as you want," she says, and it's part of the mission of the Association of Latin American Missionary Sisters in the United States, or AHLMA, which she heads.
