Sr. Patricia Johannsen grew up on a Montana farm. The call to religious life took her to Kansas, and to South Sudan. The flight to enter the Sisters of Charity of Leavenworth was her first time on a plane. She remembers that during the flight, at age 17, she had this specific thought: "This plane could crash."

GSR shares clips from our friends at A Nun's Life Ministry. Check out full episodes of all their podcasts (Ask Sister, In Good Faith, Random Nun Clips and more, like the archived Motherhouse Road Trips) on their website, ANunsLife.org.
