I started Good Tidings for women and priests involved and/or married back in 1983. I left the group of about 1000 all over the world. The group never did address the issue publicly to get celibacy changed to allow priests to marry. Now that we have an American Pope I feel American Catholics need to make it known that Celibacy needs to end. Christ Jesus's apostles were not celibate, God Himself does not want priests to be celibate. It goes against human nature, and priests need to be like any other man, with a wife and children, if he so chooses. Please contact me if you want the rule of celibacy to change, if you are in love with a priest, and if you believe that a priest will be a better Shepherd of God's sheep with a wife and children. The Greek Orthodox priests do not have a parish until they are married.
